I’m all in on the journey! Best of luck. And hey, always better to go out in flames like a meteor than to go out like a black hole sucking the life out of all around you. Your books will bring joy and life to all who read them I’m sure.

Funny, I have often thought the same about using the term 'meteoric'. Seriously. And the craters they leave behind are a great metaphor too.

Early in this post I write "...my meteoric career trajectory." I used the term "meteoric" here, and it's used all the time, but I've always kinda considered it a strange term to use in this context, since I’ve only seen them in flames and crashing down to Earth.
